Alice – part of Christianssæde’s future

This room is named after Alice, Andreas Karberg’s daughter.

Christianssæde is steeped in stories of people who have left their mark on the place over several hundred years. But the story doesn’t end there. When Christianssæde was to be rebuilt after the fire, the whole family became part of the project – and Alice, together with her brother Albert, has been closely involved in both the restoration and the day-to-day running of the estate.

Their contribution is therefore not about preserving a story that has come to an end, but about helping to write the next chapter.

A family project

Alice has left her own mark on Christianssæde and on life around the old manor house. That is why the family wanted her contribution to be a visible part of the house – and for her name to live on here.
